Jon Jones is the next Muhammad Ali? UFC Magazine thinks so

For the latest edition of UFC Magazine, UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones was posed underwater in his fighting stance. The picture pays homage to a famous picture of Muhammad Ali.

Though it may seem early in Jones' MMA career to make comparisons to Ali, it's not too early for this picture. Flip Schulke took this iconic picture of Ali in 1961. It was just a year after Ali, still called Cassius Clay, won Olympic gold in Rome. He was a young man who was astonishing the boxing world with his power, speed and footwork. At the time, he was like no other boxer. In the early 60s, he won 19 straight bouts and seemed invincible. Does that remind you of anyone?

Watch Brock Lesnar return to WWE

Former UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar returned to his roots on Monday night, appearing on WWE's "Monday Night Raw." With a glare and then an F-5 of John Cena, he jumped back into the world of professional wrestling after a four-year career in MMA. Warning: WWE fans chants some NSFW language in this video.

Lesnar hasn't been in WWE since 2004. He started fighting in 2007, and was given a title shot in the UFC in just his fourth fight. After taking the title from Randy Couture, he beat Frank Mir and Shane Carwin before losing to Cain Velasquez and Alistair Overeem. The December loss earned a title shot for Overeem, while it convinced Lesnar tor retire from MMA.

Are you happy to see Lesnar back in the pro wrestling world? Speak your mind in the comments, on Facebook or on Twitter.

UFC on Fuel 2 will be aired live and during the day

Saturday's UFC on Fuel 2 fights featuring Alexander Gustafsson vs. Thiago Silva as the main event will air live from Sweden. It's a welcome change from Spike's policy to show European fights on a tape delay, and it does mean UFC fans will have to experience the joy of daytime sports-watching.

People lucky enough to have Fuel TV can tune into the main card at 3 p.m. ET/12 p.m. PT. For those of us who cannot get their hands on Fuel (Say, because we live in apartment building that does not allow satellite dishes and Fuel is not available on Comcast, the building's cable provider,) I will host a chat here on Cagewriter. Using Twitter feeds and play-by-plays from people onsite in Sweden, we will cobble together what's happening in the Octagon. It will be just like how your grandpappy followed baseball.
